How is TruVideo different than just taking a video with your phone and texting it to someone?

Most customers are not automotive experts. Even recommending something as simple as new air filters can be met with skepticism and doubt. When you send a video, you can actually show the customer what needs to be addressed in their vehicle and educate them on how the part works and why parts wear down and need to be replaced. With video, you’ll not only see more of your recommendations approved, you’ll also build trust with your customers.

What equipment/software do I need to use for TruVideo?

TruVideo works on most wifi-capable devices, although we recommend using smartphones for the best results. Most service technicians and advisors use their personal phones, but we can recommend other shared devices if that doesn’t work for your team. How soon can my dealership get up and running with TruVideo?

The actual setup takes anywhere from a few days to two weeks, depending on the kind of training your dealership requires. Beyond the basic setup, you’ll have a dedicated Customer Success professional to walk you through the entire onboarding process including training, implementation, compliance and reporting. Over the first 90 days, this person will be checking in with you at regular intervals to answer questions, share results and make any necessary adjustments.

This comprehensive manual is your go-to reference book and your blueprint for success.

Does TruVideo provide support after installation and training?

From the moment you sign on with TruVideo, you’ll have a dedicated customer success professional to walk you through the entire onboarding process including training, implementation, compliance and reporting. Over the first 90 days, this person will be checking in with you at regular intervals to answer questions, share results and make any necessary adjustments. You’ll also have a Customer Success Manager dedicated to your dealership to support your growth and success on an ongoing basis after the initial 90 days.

If you have any issues or concerns, we’re available by phone, chat and email during our business hours of 8am-6:30pm. We also have a library of “How To” videos that’s available to our customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
